Meet Yvette Quinones
“Be present in all things, and thankful for all things.” - Maya Angelou.
Yoga has been a part of my life for over 8 years. Through my personal practice, I have learned to be present in my body and thankful for the one I have, which allows me the freedom of movement. I have experienced some of the benefits of practicing yoga such as calmness, awareness, stillness, and flexibility - just to name a few. Being inspired by various yoga teachers throughout my practice; I knew without a doubt, I needed a deeper study and I wanted to share yoga with others.
In April 2015, I completed my 200 hour Vinyasa Flow Yoga Teacher Training Certification with Serenity Yoga Studio. I continue to deepen my study and evolve personally by attending various workshops, as I enjoy learning and will always be a student of yoga. My teaching style is gentle with a dose of playfulness. I thrive from a gentle practice because it helps me to slow down, release and recharge. Gentle yoga is a bridge between moving in flow and stillness. When we are gentle with ourselves, it’s easier to be gentle in our relationships and fast paced world.
Professionally, I have over 20 years of experience as an office professional. Currently, I am grateful to serve as an Attendance Paraprofessional at a middle school. My downtime, is FAMILY time! Giving love and making precious memories is priceless; and for that, I am present and thankful for my amazing husband and teenage son.
